About Me
A designer-engineer who likes systems that feel effortless. I build interfaces where the seams disappear and the map does the talking.
Where it started
RotterdamGrew up sketching transit maps in the margins of notebooks. Turns out that obsession with wayfinding never really left.
How I think
Systems firstI treat products like transit networks: clear lines, honest signage, and no dead ends for the people riding them.
What I do
Design + EngineeringComfortable from Figma to production. I care about the space between pixels and the milliseconds between frames.
Right now
Open to workCurrently exploring interfaces that reward curiosity. This site is one of those experiments.
My Work
A selection of projects, each one a station on the line. Different destinations, same commitment to clarity.
Atlas — Design System
Lead EngineerA component library adopted across 40+ product teams. Cut new-feature build time roughly in half.
Transit — Realtime Maps
Founding DesignerLive vehicle tracking for a regional transit authority. Half a million riders check it every morning.
Signal — Analytics
Product EngineerAn events dashboard that turns firehoses of data into a single legible glanceable line.
Compass — Wayfinding Kit
CreatorAn open-source toolkit for building interactive maps. The engine quietly powering this very portfolio.
Experience
A timeline running north to south — the most recent stops are up top. Every station is a chapter.
